A Pretty Good Morning in The Highlands is a favourite of mine, maybe because in it I've achieved many of my goals.
This composition lies naturally and easily under the fingers, and you really couldn't tell by the resulting sound how easy it is to play! Musically, A Pretty Good Morning in The Highlands represents the kind of fusion that I'm trying to carry out: it sounds a bit like pop music, but it's got a traditional vibe and some classical undertones.
"Truly a wonderful melody and beautifully played. As I listened I was transported to the highlands of Scotland." - Robert
The bass stays on the note G for a long time in the beginning. Try to keep your third finger pressed down on the fingerboard the for the duration of that G note! It will sound better—and it will be easier to play that way, too.
